Rum in theory

Turn us on to the rum you've been drinking.

Had a little of this last night at a Christmas Party. I was very impressed. I would have had a few more drinks, but I was roped into driving and the party was at a house up a canyon in sketchy weather. I was most impressed with how smooth and light it was for also being so dark and spicy -- my judgment may have been slightly skewed as I was 3-4 drinks into the night when I noticed the bottle. If nothing else, it looks the way a rum bottle should. In a nutshell, dark and smooth. Very balanced spice flavor.

I always have a bottle of Myers on hand... mostly for eggnog as that was the brand my grandparents used every christmas and to me, eggnog just wouldn't be right without it... I'm never actually just drank it straight... I will this weekend...

El Dorado 5-Year-Old Rum, Guyana

I think I prefer Mount Gay though.
