Liquor Stores

So I've seen it a hundred times in movies and driven past it a hundred times too, but never stopped at Circus Liquors.

here's a pic I found of it... it's a classic LA landmark in North Hollywood.


and I thought maybe it's cool inside and not just a crappy liquor store...

So I went in because I actually wanted a vintage soft drink... Well no vintage soft drinks here... and yes, it is just another crappy LA liquor store.

They do though carry the line of St. Peters Ales and beers from England so I picked up their IPA...

And I can always say I stopped at Circus Liquors...

Nice sign, shame it didn't quite live up to expectations.

What soda were you looking for?

I found that, when I was in Florida, that the ABC liquor stores were pretty good, very happy with the customer service.

In the UK, in London, I can recommend Gerry's and The Whisky Exchange.
